Past projects Part 2

Alrighty... are you ready for part 2?  I'm still thinking about the whole redecorating thingy but not much else cuz I somehow have hurt my back...nothin' serious but can't do a lot of standing for long period of times.  So Icy Hot is my new best bud.

Okay enough about me, on to the crafts...

Crinkle Loveys...

These are smaller versions of The Lulu Lovey and have some plastic sewed inside so that they crinkle.  These I made for Lily, one for the house and one for the car.  At 11 months she still loves them.

Polymer clay trinkets...

I used to play with Fimo when I was a kid (I still have this cute little hedgehog I made).  After seeing cute things like this I wanted to try to make my own.  For those of you who don't know the above is Spongebob's house..."who lives in a pineapple under the sea?..." I won't sing the whole song and yes, I know every. single. word.  A certain 4 year old requested that I make it.  It actually turned out better then I thought it would.

Here are some other things I made:

Duvet cover and pillowcase...

I found this twin sheet at a local thrift store and thought it would make a cute duvet cover and pillowcase for Natalie's Tinkerbell bed.

Gathered clutch...

This cute little bag was a lot of first for me.  First clutch. First time gathering. First zipper.  I saw it on the celebrating mom series over on MADE...the tutorial is actually by Anna at Noodlehead. You can find it here.

Crocheted doughnut...

Isn't it cute? And fat free!!  I was really into amigurumi for awhile but I didn't take many pictures.  :-( After seeing this picture I really want to make some more soon and take pictures!

Seat belt cover...

When Natalie got her booster seat I thought she would be more comfortable with a seat belt cover.  So when I saw this tutorial I was stoked.

Well there you have it.  As you can see I like to try a bit of everything. I have many more projects in the works. My plan is to type my project list on here so that it will hopefully motivate me to cross things off.  I may even, dare I say it, set a deadline! DUN! DUN! DUN!! But out of all my projects past and present these two are by far my absolute favorite...

  1. Love the little Crinkle Loveys. What kind of plastic did you sew in? Hope your back is feeling better!
