Our family is growing

What? You thought I meant another kid?

Nope. Sorry.

But let me introduce you to Brooke (how cute is that?!)...

Natalie's first pet.  Who knew you could get attached to a goldfish?  I already am and we just brought her home today.  Might have something to do with her being Natalie's first pet.  Seriously can we freeze time for a little while?  They grow up so fast!

Brooke's decorating style is very retro...neon rainbow gravel.  Not my style but if it makes her happy. ;-)

And before I go I wanted to share a picture of some daisy seedlings.

I just love how they are all leaning towards the light.  Isn't nature amazing?

  1. brooke is adorable! the name suits her.
speaking of growing families, (no i am not and will not ever be pregnant) today at target emmy said to me "can we get a baby, i mean a real baby, mama?" i told her she could get one when she was much older, but that mommy wasn't going to be getting any babies any time soon!

  3. You totally had me with the title. :) We had some fish once, totally stunk- literally. :( They were really NOT the substitute for the dog my daughter dreams about that I hoped they would be. ;) Best of luck with Brooke- She looks really happy, ;)

  4. CUTE!!! Noah had (HAD) pet goldfish in his room too and we loved (LOVED) them. Sadly, they don't live too long. I even cried during the toilet burial. We have invested in a Beta fish since then and it has been alive for over a year :)

  9. This made me smile. We lost our beloved goldfish Beefcake this weekend. Nice to see that another fishie has been adopted into a loving home. :)
