You guys are the best, a Spring tea party, and vintage goodies. Oh yeah and giveaway WINNER!!!

This is a sort of catch up post.  I could put each of these topics in their own post but I am feeling behind and overwhelmed so I thought why not just cram them in to one?  So let's get started.

First let me say a huge thank you to all of you for your support, encouragement, and love in response to my last post.  It means the world to me.  I knew I could count on my readers to be there for me.  You guys are awesome!!!  This blog has been a blessing in more ways then I could ever have imagined.

Like I said before the depression sucks out any motivation I may have had.  And this past week was no exception.  I spent a lot of my free time reading.  I just sped through Hunger Games. OMG...what an awesome book!  Have any of you guys read it?  If so, what did you think?  I can't wait to read the next one but I am going to have to since I'm 12th on the waiting list at the library :-(   I have worked on some crafty stuff.  I just finished two custom orders, one for a ring and the other for a pin the candle on the cupcake game.  And in between all of this I have been trying to get things ready for our garage sale we are having this Saturday.  I've had a little fun too...

Last Thursday the girls and I went to a tea party hosted my my friend Cassie and her daughter Emmy.  The girls were instructed to come in their fanciest attire.  Here are my two ready for the party:

And here are some more pics because they are just so darn cute!!

We had so much fun! The girls sipped apple juice out of real china tea cups, ate butterfly and frog shaped sandwiches, fruit salad, and pretzels.

For dessert the girls ate these adorable toadstool cupcakes that Cassie made.

And here is Lily enjoying her lunch :-)

The decor was woodland themed.

There were butterflies and little garden gnomes.

I made these toadstool place card holders out of polymer clay.

The girls took them home as favors to wear as a charm on a necklace.  The Tuesday before the party I helped Cassie with some the decorations.  I made different sized pom-poms out of bright colored tissue paper.  Cassie make this cute flower mobile using some tulle ribbon and a styrofoam wreath.

Isn't it adorable?  You can find the tutorial here.
The party was a huge hit.  It was a perfect way to spend a beautiful Spring afternoon.

On Friday was wine and design over at Cassie's.  We joked that I should have just sleep over since I was there Tues, Thurs, and Friday! This month's wine and design theme was floral.  I had plans to make some tissue paper flowers to glue on some branches for a Spring arrangement but forgot to bring the branches.  So instead I worked on a new project that I had mentioned here.  All those vintage earrings have been transforming into cute vintage rings!!

Sorry this is the only picture I have, and it isn't even mine! :-)
As soon as I can get some pictures taken these beauties will be in my shop.  Cassie has been kind enough to offer to sell some for me at Lucketts this weekend!!  She even found this cute little tray!  If you live in the area be sure to make plans to go to Lucketts this weekend and be sure to go to Cassie's booth.  You will not be disappointed!

And last but not least the winner of my 200 follower giveaway is...

Amy from Me and my thrifty ideas!  Congrats Amy!  Email me and we can talk about what you would like from my shop!
