Happy Monday!
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekends!
We celebrated our anniversary by eating lunch at Red Lobster and picking out paint samples (yes, more samples!).

It was nice.
I wanted to share a fun project I worked on this weekend. You can find tutorials all over the internet on how to make these. I'd say the hardest part and most time consuming is cutting the tulle. Next time I am doing this, because that was a pain in the you-know-what. But it was completely worth it because I went...
So adorable! I wish I had made one for my oldest when she was a baby.
I used 1/4 yard each of hot pink, light pink, and bright orange tulle. I cut 15" by 7"strips.
I didn't cut a certain amount. I just kept cutting until I used it all up. And when I was making the tutu I just kept adding strips until I got the look I wanted.
If you want a great step by step tutorial check this one out.
So go make one for the little ballerina in your life!
You will be so happy that you did and so will she!!
Linking up to these parties this week.
Go and check out all the wonderful talent out there! Party on!
FYI: This is Quilt Story's first link party...so go over and show them some love and link up!

I made a tulle tutu for my daughter's 1st birthday last year. I have a photo of her in it hanging in my living room. It was so easy to make and looked SO CUTE on her. I used pink and green in mine, but I love the colors you chose!
