Like it was drilled into my head.
So I make a point to do just that in real life and on this blog. And when I don't I feel just awful.
Why am I telling you this? Well yesterday I got a comment from Valerie @ As Our Time Goes By saying that she had given me an award. I was beyond flattered as always but then I remembered...someone else had given me one a few weeks back and I never blogged about it or even said thank you!!!
Not good.
So I frantically have been going through my emails trying to find who gave me the award so I can hopefully fix this faux pas. But I have searched and searched and I can't find it!! So if the sweet person who was thoughtful enough to give me an award is reading this please email me so I can apologize and then publicly say thank you.
Okay I feel a little better. Thanks for listening. Now back to the award I received yesterday...
It comes with some rules but I mainly just want to say thank you (hope that's okay) for thinking of me and my blog, Valerie! So THANK YOU!!

ReplyDeletekidding. i can say this to you and hope no one else reads your comments from me, but i hate awards. they are more hassle than anything else! it is nice to point out bloggers you like, etc, but awards have just too many rules and pressure!!
NOT a bad blogger, just a busy one! Besides, awards take up a ton of time, so after already doing a few, I think just saying "thanks' is plenty :)
