Thank you Cheri over at It's So Very Cheri for picking the ring as her pick of the week. I could not be more appreciative! When I saw it this morning my jaw dropped.
This evening I got a message from Barb at Santa's Gift Shoppe and Ideas that she had featured my ring today also! Thanks so much Barb!!
So a pretty great day in the blogging world for Jane of All Crafts!
I would also like to say thank you to Gingerbread Girl and This Little Life of Mine for mentioning my ring on their blogs as well! Check these gals and their great blogs out!
Like I mentioned above I made some more rings using different gauges of wire.
Here's one using 20g wire and only 3 beads...
Here's one with same wire but 4 beads...
This one is 24g silver plated copper wire with 3 beads that are all the same size and color...
Natalie wanted to get in on the modeling :-)
And here is a bird nest pendant...I pretty much made it up as I went so it needs some tweaking but I still love it anyway!
So what do you guys think? I'd love to hear your opinions.
Do you like the messy look? Or would you prefer if they were a little more polished?
My personal favorites are the silver plated copper ring and the 20g with 3 beads.
What's yours?
oooh i LOVE those aqua beads, and LOVE the pendant! i think that is a fabulous idea! of course, i am more of a necklace wearer than anything. i don't wear earrings, and don't wear rings often. what a great idea to convert it to a pendant though. you need to make those and sell them- they would do so well! you could customize the number of eggs for the number of children a mama has.
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute, I had even forgotten since your original post. Congrats on the "publicity," you deserve it!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Meri
Wow they're all just gorgeous Andi - I think my fav though is the 20g with 3 beads. These are so pretty!! I'm off to hunt up your original post about them!
ReplyDeleteI love them all but my fav is also the silver plated copper...you need to sell them...I would really love to have one of my own. Great work!
ReplyDeleteGreat rings! wondering if you plan on doing a tutorial or if have already? I would love to try my hand at it:)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! The blue was the color of my wedding. That would have been a perfect bridesmaid gift!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet. I love the look you have right now...especially those blue "eggs"... gorgeous! And, I LOVE the idea of a pendant.
ReplyDeleteOHHHHHHHHHHHH MERCY - I am in love! I adore the ring with the 3 blue beads - it looks like a robin's nest with three little eggs waiting to hatch!
ReplyDeleteDo you sell these on Etsy - and if so how much? My sister will LOVE them and her bday is coming! (I, of course must have one too!)
Lotsa love,
Maggie
Yeah! Congrats on all the features, Andi! My favorite is the 20g with 3 beads, but I love the pendant, too. Looks like there is a waiting list forming for orders:)
ReplyDeleteI shared this on my blog today. I just love the look of the bird nest ring/pendant. Stop on by and see. http://holy-craft.blogspot.com/2011/03/things-i-love-this-week.html
ReplyDeleteAdorable. Bird nests aren't supposed to look too polished. They're just perfect.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love bird nests...they remind me of spring...and new beginnings. Lovely.
