Love the pattern and the color is so vibrant and cheerful, perfect for summer!
No matter how much I wipe the table down before we eat it is still gross so this was a great solution. I love the pattern and the blue is so bright and happy. The only thing is there was no hole for the umbrella so I folded it in half and then half again and cut a quater circle at the folds.
So now we can eat on the deck a lot more this summer, which is on our to-do list.
Now that the girls are getting older I want to make an effort to make our summer days more intentional. I've seen some really amazing summer lists in blog land. Like this one here and here. I showed you guys my DIY chalkboard. I thought it was the perfect place to put our own list.
Here it is...
I used chalk pens. I love how bright they are and this way little hands can't erase it ;-) We've already checked a few things off our list, like the pool, bubbles, and eat dinner on the deck. Nothing is set in stone but my hope is we will accomplish a lot of them and then some!
I'm looking forward to making lots of memories and starting new traditions that will hopefully continue for many summers.
